Hi,
If you wish to snorkel at Amiga Island (off the coast of Labadee) you would need to book the excursion with RC. But, you can just wait until you get onboard to do that.

Also, there is reasonable snorkeling in the coves on the leeward side of the Isthmus and if there are too many waves, on the other side as well. Just walk across the isthmus to start looking for a snorkeling location.

Snorkeling wasn't all that great when I was there.

We loved Labadee. It's a very fun day for people who like water sports and the beach. The kids looked like they were having a ball playing in the water park too. The cookout that Royal Carribean put on was excellent. I especially liked the fresh fruit, macaroni salad and burgers. The pineapple and watermelon were delicious. It was a traditional outdoor BBQ with a little extra flair.

If you're not a beach person this may not be the best stop for you, but don't miss out on the BBQ. My husband and I played in the water all day and had a blast!
