Costa Maya - need input

While I've heard that the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins was a "light" experience and not entirely interesting, has anyone been to Kohunlich Mayan Ruins? We're also looking at Mayan Reality Tour but we're not sure if there are other things to do/see while in Costa Maya. Do you have any recommendation(s)?

We were in Costa Maya in 12/05. We took the Chacchoben Mayan Ruins tour and really enjoyed it. Our guide told us that the Ruins were actually larger than the Tulum Ruins. We would highly recommend a trip to Chacchoben!

We went to Costa Maya in 4.04 we took an independent bus to Tequila beach, did some CHEAP snorkeling, shopping and had a few cold beers. We took a taxi back to the ship. It was pretty under developed back in 04 but very nice.
