I have read some reviews that talk of jelly fish stings, sea lice at Labadee. Would like to know more about this problem and which areas to avoid there!
Also, has anyone tried the zip treking there? Was it worth the cost? Did you have to book the zip trek excursion in advance or can you decide once you get there?
Jellyfish can be a problem at Labadee, but not often. When they are there they are everywhere it seems. You can't avoid them. But as I said, it isn't a routine thing.

I had these same questions. I've been told book before you leave home and book in the morning as the wind comes up in the afternoon and it is sometimes cancelled.
I'm too big a chicken to try it,but my boys are signed up!
When are you cruising?
We have been to Labadee a couple times since the zip line opened. It was always booked solid prior to arrival at this port. I doubt that this has changed. The last time we were there the zip line closed at about 1 p.m. due to changes in wind--the staff indicated this was not unusual. I have not done this. I don't even like to stand on a chair. You will find me on a floaty in Labadee. Have fun.

I was in Labadee last week and noticed that the zipline wasn't as busy and it usually is. We booked the jet skies just by walking up to the shack on the beach. Maybe a lot of people stayed on board that day.
