has anyone used belizecruise excurions, we are
interested in taking tour to belize zoo, old
belize and cucmber beach that they have on their website.
also has anyone taken a taxi and done their own
tour of old belize and cucumber beach, if so
any idea what a taxi would cost.
any suggestions would be welcome
we were in belize about 3 weeks ago. that was our first time at that port.
we were undecided as to what to do but we did know not to do it on our own.
We decided to only do the market area that is fenced in. I was really quite nice but one thing that troubled me was when we would go down an alley to shop that was in the fenced in area we could see the fence. People were hanging at the fence from the other side, they were yelling at yes to come over. there were a lot of people doing this, it was scary. But that is just my experience.
but my opinion is, if Belize was safe why do they need the market area fenced in.
do your homework. when we got back on the ship we found no one had done an excursion into belize, but bunches that went to bannister island. that is just my experience. maybe other people had a better experience.

ago and did the bannister island, we also shopped in the flea market, we dont want to do bannister again, we are on ncl pearl in nov 08,
but didnt see much in there excusions we wanted to do, we dont what zip line of cave tubing,
so we thought we may try belizecruise excurions, they have a belize zoo, old belize andcucumber beach, that looks interesting, so we
were wondering if anyone had used this company.

wow your helping me alot, my friend really wants to go to the belize zoo, so i'm going to
check into that one with belize cruise excursions, only problem when at a tender port
is how fast you can get off the ship, because
i know they let the passengers off first that
have booked a shore trip with them, cos we did
that last time we were in belize.

Check out "Smugglers Run Plantation",we did a tour of the Mayan Ruins with them and were very pleased. They offer other tours as well and their plantation is impressive,hope you have fun!!

Just google Smugglers Run Plantation and you will see their tours. Trevor Miles and his wife are the owners and they do a great job. They picked us up at the pier and took us to the plantation, then to the ruins,then back to the plantation for a wonderful lunch prepared by his wife while we were gone. We had a private tour of the ruins! I highly recommend them if there is a tour that you are interested in.
