Royal Caribbean should have bought the exclusive rights for the Flow Rider. But maybe they do have a stake in this land version. They are popping up all over. The water park at the Mall Of America in Minnesota has one as does the Florida Mall in Orlando.

I have a feeling that Iowa will not be researching this technology for some time to come.
