Best Beach in Roatan

With what I've read about Roatan, there are sand fleas on the beach. I'm wondering if there is a season for these buggers! And, I've found 3 beaches listed through the cruise line: Las Palmas, Tabyana Beach & Fantasy Island Beach. Which one is the best? Which one doesn't have sand fleas?!!? Will Avon's Skin So Soft protect from sand flea bites?

Take a taxi to the west end bay and buy some Cutters. The sand fleas do not hurt when they bite, but that evening, you will have little red spots all over your feet and legs. Cutters works to eliminate them entirely.

Thanks Tom. We are booked for the Tabyana Beach Party. I'll get some Cutters for sure since that seems to eliminate the problem!

Cutters Insect Repellent. The stuff works great on sand fleas (and other insects), but you have to take it with you from the U.S..

Is Cutter's only available in the US or can wet it in Canada before we go? Is it available at drugstore-type places? Thanks!

You should be able to get it at any drug store and I would make a point to obtain some before you leave for your cruise.
