weather in st.thomas, marten and bahamas

We are cruising May 26th to the 3rd. Looking at the 10 day weather forcast up to the 28th shows showers....no sunny picture
When it rains at those ports, does it stick around for a whole week?????
I'm from Pittsburgh and when it rains here, it is gloomy and miserable and sticks around for awhile.

I try never to get too crazed with the online weather forecast, as they are not usually correct. My February Caribbean cruise had the same weather & we did not have rain
The rains in the Caribbean usually come & go - with the exeption of hurricaine season.
