just wondering about getting off the ship when you don't have an excursion with the ship. We have planned some private tours and we are worried that we will not make the check in time for it. For example in Gr Cayman we have one planned and have to check in within the hour of arriving at port. Is it going to be possible to be on time? How is this done when I realize that the ship excursions are first in line. Worried.

Aww, Jan u r cruisin, do not spend time worrying...they do an excellent job of tendering everyone quickly. Plenty of us wait for the intitial line-ups to go, and wander on and off at the non-peak times. Your tour operator will be smiling and waiting for his paying pax. After all, he is hoping for a tip !

We have the Rays, Reef and Rum tour booked through a private vendor, Native Way, in Grand Cayman. We will be there next week and I will let you know how the offload goes. We will be onboard the Liberty.
