Hi all, I am trying to decide which beach to go to in Cozumel. Is one better than the other? Looking for clean beach with water toys,good food and good drinks. Thanks.
Both are equally touted, although I've never been to either one. Paradise probably has more devotees on this board than does Mr. Sanchos. Look here for a comparison. I believe Paradise Beach has no user fee but they expect you to spend $10 per person on food, drinks, etc. That isn't hard to do.
Thanks..Ive decided on Paradise. I like the idea of the waiters coming out to the beach and waiting on me! I enjoy being lazy and I don't mind tipping the waiters!!
Yes we are scheduled 10-6 on the 20th. I was planning on going to Chankanaab that day because I haven't been since Wilma. However, I didn't get to talk with Tom last year (the guy that runs Paradise Beach) because he was on vacation. I may email him and see if he's going to be there. If he is I may change my plans and go too. I'll let you know, I'd love to meet you.

I am going on the Ecstasy this time. We are going to be in Cozumel 10-6 also! I went to Chankakaab in Nov and it is coming along. They still didn't have the sea lion swim but did have the dolphin swim again. It seems like there is less there than before Wilma hit, but Im not sure exactly what it is lacking, just looks different.
That would be great if you end up at Paradise Beach. I would love to meet you. Im looking forward to some beach time..when we were in Cozumel in Nov, it rained the entire day. Senor Frogs was very crowded! We barely got the dolphin swim in before the lightning storm hit. Yikes. Keep in touch, Thanks
