We were in Key West on Thanksgiving looking forward to having Key Lime Pie at the Blonde Giraffe, only to find out that they were out of business. We were at Sloppy Joe's and our waiters said that all locations closed the day before. We were so looking forward to going there. So sad.

Oh no, please tell me it's not so! They had the BEST key lime pie. They were even on the Food Network once, I think it might have been when the Dean boys were on the road. That's just too sad!

Five locations in a small place like Key West? Good grief. Why didn't they just consolidate them to one location?

Sounds fishy to me, I'm with Cruise Fanatic, why not just consolidate if it was truly the economic conditions. If there are no civil suits pending, then I am really curious. You can file bankruptcy and reorganize without having to just board up. I think there's more to this story.
