Cozumel Changed to Costa Maya

Does anyone know how long they will be substituting Costa Maya for Cozumel? We just booked our December cruise, but we're now receiving emails stating a change in ports.

We're all first time cruisers and are full of questions.

It will probably be a while as the piers in Cozumel got creamed by the hurricane leaving only the ferry wharf to receive tenders. I haven't been to Cozumel in a couple of months so don't know how much progress is being made. However, rebuilding cruise ship piers isn't something that can be done overnight.

Sorry I can't provide more definitive information.
