Coki Beach or Magens bay?

1st time cruisers here trying to figure out what beach to go to in St. Thomas.We have heard Coki beach and Magens Bay? Which is better? We would love any suggestions or input. Thanks !!

Hi Jenny!
Actually, Trunk bay is the best. I usually go the Coki Beach because I like the drinks the "Mailman" makes. There's some good snorkling there too. You have to pay to get in to Magens Bay. I'm sure you will cruise again, so it really doesn't matter the first time. When you go again you can try a different beach. You can take a look at a few pictures of Coki Beach >HERE<

I agree with SonnyV, Trunk bay is awesome. You can take a ferry from St. Thomas for $6/pp, I think the cab fare was $4/pp and the entrance was $2/pp to Trunk Bay. They have fresh water showers, lockers, a snack bar, and a couple of shops (not cheap). There is a beautiful beach with crystal clear warm water. There is a self-guided beach snorkel, you swim out about 100 yds. Both Coki and Magen are nice as well, but Trunk Bay is gorgeous. Enjoy your cruise!!
