We didn't do the helmet dive, but our snorkel took us to the same place they were. They looked like they were having fun. We either take a catamaran to Buck Island and snorkel or catch the ferry to St. Johns and snorkel in Trunk Bay. We're not into shopping and the snorkeling is wonderful. The ferry to St. Johns was $6/pp the last time we took it and I think it was $4/pp for the taxi ride to Trunk Bay. I think it was $2/pp to get into the beach. There are lockers, fresh water showers, a snack bar, and a couple of shops (not cheap). The beach is beautiful and the water is warm and crystal clear for a self-guided snorkel. We love sailing, so the catamarans are fun as well. Hope this helps!
