Car rental in Curacao

Hello!

We are going to visit to the Carribean in January 2010 and think about renting a car in Curacao because of being there for 10 hours.

So I wanted to ask, if anyone knows, if that makes sense in Curacao and how traffic is comparing to other Carribean islands?

We have not tried to rent a car there, the traffic is crazy! We have taken a tour there that went to the Curacoa factory, and you got free samples after the tour. It is very good liquor. We also have done some snorkeling there, which was ok. If you rent a car, just be careful, it's really congested around the port area.
