Hurricane Season

Can anyone tell me when is the hurricane season in the carribean? I remember our last cruise in july/08 we caught the tail end of Dolly in between miami & gr cayman. The joke of the day was Carnival didn't have to wash any windows or decks that night!!

i believe it starts june 1st through mid november. we sail in sep and oct the high time for one,and knock on wood we have never had a problem

The official Hurricane Season is from June 1st. through November 30th.

Look at this for more information. Most of the storms are between mid August and late September.

The cruise lines are experts at steering the ships out of harm's way and re-routing them with another itinerary when a storm is any where near. No Worries.
