shore excursions at xmas

We're cruising the eastern Caribbean thru xmas time hitting Turks, St. Thomas usvi, and half moon cay. Dec. 26-30 and was wondering if it will be difficult to book the more popular activities on the shore. I'm talking about underwater scooters and snuba.
I'm thinking there will be a lot of companies looking for customers even at xmas time but I'm not positive.

Don't worry about it. The tour companies will be up and running. Plus, Half Moon Cay is the private island stop so everyone there is employed by the cruise line.

The one I was mainly concerned with was St. Thomas because I'd like to do the boss scooters and you can't book that thru HAL. BTW do you know of any other underwater scooter co's. On any of my other stops?

Hi micaelpaul, welcome to CruiseReviews! Congratulations on your up-coming cruise. I do not know of an underwater scooter company in Grand Turk and they do not have them on Half Moon Cay. We did a 2 stop snorkel in Grand Turk that was fantastic, we booked through the ship. St. Thomas is the only port I know of with them on your itinerary. As Dave said, you should have no trouble booking excursions. Have a marvelous cruise!
