St. Maarten

Has anyone gone to the beach at St. Maarten airport? How is the best way to get there? I am a aviation freak and since I have been to St. Maarten before, I thought I would check out the airport that is one of the top extreme airports in the world...

It's called Maho beach, and the only way I know to get there is by cab. I think it was $20/pp. It's a hoot having jets land on top of you.
