Walking in St. Thomas

It is a beautiful walk, long, but beautiful. Depending on where you dock. If you're in Havensight, there are sidewalks. If you're in the one on the south end, it's about 4 miles. My mind is blank this morning, but Princess uses it and Regent was docked next to us. But yuo can walk to town from there, too.

Thank you Penny...you don't know by any chance where Costa pulls in? Trying to plan things out and decide if we should rent a car or taxi to a beach and then walk to town. If walking is not an option....it is the car route we shall go. Any more info would be appreciated.

I think Costa uses the Princess dock, but I don't think you really want to rent a car there. Traffic is totally ridiculous. They will have plenty of cabs waiting. However, what they want to do is fill them up before leaving. Which beach were you going to go to? They charged us $18/pp for Sapphire, I think it was $12/pp for Coki, and I think Megan's was $8 or $10/pp. They did have signs posted. They built a nice shopping area where the docks are, but the last time we were there, there weren't many shops open. I still like to go downtown. There are a lot of vendors set up in open air booths with good prices on t-shirts and normal trinkets. I'm pretty sure we were there on the Mediterranea and she docked there. It's Crown something, like Crown Bay, I think?
