Neat Places to Eat on the following islands...

We are two 21 year olds who will be cruising aboard the Carnival Victory in December that leaves out of San Juan and stops in:
1) St. Thomas
2.)Dominica
3.)Barbados
4.)St.Lucia
5.)Antigua
6.)St. Kitts

I was just wondering if anyone had stopped at any places that were memorable and if so if you wouldn't mind passing the names of those places on! Thank you!

I can only answer about St. Thomas. Gladys's Cafe is always a wonderful place to have lunch. It is downtown Charlotte Amalie in Royal Dane Mall, actually an alleyway. Another is the Greenhouse. I usually prefer Gladys's for the food, and the Greenhouse for the view.

We took that cruise earlier in the summer. We only can speak of one place to eat as we were too busy enjoy the snorkling and beaches and such to bother stopping at a restaurant.

On Antigua, grab a cab and ask to go to Church Beach (Also called Nest Beach). The beach is unbelievable and there is a great little bar/restaurant called "The Nest" that serves very reasonably priced drinks and has a BBQ from which they will make you food if you wish.

On Dominica go to Champagne reef if you like snorkeling. There are a couple of restaurants near the ship area but we did not have time to eat.

Take my advise - eat on the ship - you paid for it and they actually have health standards and regulations - we had a cruise ruined by getting food poisoning at a place off the ship once. Don't mean to be negative but it's always a risk.
