Tell me more about going to XEL-HA on your own from Cozumel. How much is the ferry and where is it located? How much is the taxi? and when you get to XEL-HA, how much does that cost? How much time does it take for the travel from ship to XEL-HA? I've heard this place is incredible. Thanks.

I don't remember the cost of the cab, but they have regulated rates which are very inexpensive. Probably under $10.
Don't know the cost of the ferry because I was vacationing in Mexico. It is a pretty neat place to see.

The ferry to Playa Del Carmen is located in downtown Cozumel. Depending on where your ship docks, the cost for a taxi into town is about $5. The ferry ride is $18 pp and takes about 45 minutes. Once in Playa del Carmen you can hire a taxi or take a collectivo to Tulum/Xel-Ha. Entrance fee is about $4 pp.
