I cannot believe that I'm leaving for Bermuda in less than three weeks. Usually I do a ton of research before I visit a port, and I've done NONE! Can anyone recommend where to visit, what to see, where/what to eat, etc.? I'd like to do an excursion or two, either on our own or with the ship, and would also like some beach time. And I love to take photos. Any advice, suggestions, etc. would be much appreciated!

You probably can gain a lot from looking at their website here. Bermuda has so much to see and do. Getting the hop on/off bus pass will allow you to see and do a lot in the time you're there. There are many wonderful beaches in Bermuda.

Cort,
I took the Dawn to Bermuda last Oct and it docks at the Royal Naval Dockyard, it doesn't get any better then this. Everything is right there for you. Step off the ship and rent a jet ski, Segway, scooters or take a ferry over to Hamilton or St George's. You can swim with the Dolfins right across the street from the ship. There also is a small beach across the street too and a Mall and Restaurants. The information booth is right there to get tickets for the bus and ferry. It is beautiful. Go to one of the most beautiful beaches like Horse Shoe Bay. I loved it so much we went back this May on Celebrity. Have a BLAST http://bestsmileys.com/thumbs/7.gif

Horseshoe beach is a must see. It's breathtakingly beautiful. But I would highly recommend the snorkel park right in the dockyard. It's a cheesy little beach and costs 5 dollars to get in, but it's the most amazing coral reef! The beach is not the soft beautiful sandy beach the tourists are seeking (althoug it's nice) but if you like to snorkel it's AMAZING! it's about 10-12 feet of water, but the coral is tall and only about 3 feet under you. It's loaded with great fish, parrot fish, red snapper, yellow tails etc.
