Can you walk to 7 Mile Beach in Georgetown, or is it too far? Are there any beaches within walking distance in Costa Maya? Thank you.

When you get off the tender in Grand Cayman, there are plenty of taxis to take you to many great spots along the beach..There may even be bus' that run but I don't remember..You will want to check the port sites for recommendations, but we did find a great spot with refreshments/food/drinks available along with lounge chair rentals across from one of the many great hotels.

Costa Maya has a great resort style swimming pool right at the port. It is free to use. They also have beach chairs. You can swim up to the bar and restaurant and they will serve you on the ledge. We had a mexican lunch from Banditos on the edge of the pool while looking out at our ship in the ocean. It was beautiful. We also took a snorkeling excursion from a catamaran in Costa Maya. We had a really good time there, but we didn't venture too far from port.

Hi Tori L, welcome to Cruise-Chat! You cannot walk to 7 mile beach from the dock where you tender to. There is plenty of shopping right there, but 7 mile is about a 10-15 minute cab ride. Very well worth the ride, it's beautiful!
