Panama?

I have one more port to lock up. What should I do in Colon? Should I try to see the Canal or stay on the ship?

By all means go see the canal. No sense going to Panama if you don't see that engineering marvel. I'll never forget sitting in bleachers mere feet from the lock and seeing a container ship pass through. I was so close I could have tossed a can of soda to a crewman (except for the chain link fence). Stay with a ship's tour in Panama. There is a shopping area at the pier that is safe to visit too.

If you do not go through the lock on the ship then do the ship's tour
It is something to see
There is a grocery store at the dock if you like coffee beans or ground coffee they have some good prices I think we paid $3 for a 2 lb bag
