dunns river falls

Hi can anyone inform us what is the best and cheapest way of seeing dunns river falls.
We are docking in ochios rios and think personnaly rcl prices for excursions are expensive.
Any help appreciated

Hi Chris 2486, there have been a lot of posts about Reggie, don't know if they're good, first hand. Jamaica is one place I highly recommend using a ship's tour. If you want to do one on your own, make sure you stay in a group. Jamaica is a beautiful island, but a very poor island. It's not a place to be wandering around by yourself. You can take a taxi to Dunn's River Falls (make sure it's a taxi inside the port) and join a group there. Still, I recommend doing the ship's tour.

We seldom do ships tours. We are not impressed with the product offered, the group size, price, etc. HOWEVER, in Jamaica we always do a ship's tour. This is one scarey island on your own. The natives will tell you not to go off on your own even.

Chris2486, Island Cruise told me that Reggies wasn't in Ocho Rios, and that could very well be. I only do ship's excursions there. There seems to be a shoretrips that operates there, and there was a recommendation a couple of years ago for Trevor Hudlin, don't know if he's still operating or not. Just please be careful there.

While, it may not be the cheapest, I agree with the others. A ship excursion is probably the safest for this port in my opinion.
