Hi linstadt, welcome to Cruise-Chat. Belize is fantastic for snorkeling. I didn't do mine through RCI, we were on NCL. They took us out to a reef that was absolutely fantastic, the water was crystal clear with an abundance of sea life. I'm sure that either excursion would be great. If I remember correctly, the snorkeling boat picked us up from the ship. We had anchored out and they were tendering in. It's been a while, and I do get ports confused, but I'm pretty sure they picked us up at the ship. I do remember the reef though and it was great. Best wishes!
