OK guys and gals..If you got to go on a cruise for your honeymoon which cruise line would you go with? and why? and where would you go?and why? Thanks alot getting married in May and we have thought about doing a cruise for the honeymoon. Thanks
Hi Dalton, there are a lot of "ifs" to my answer. If money were no object, I'd go with Seaborn or Crystal. Since it is, I'd go with Princess or HAL because they both offer magnificent ships, impeccable service, immaculate on board conditions, and great food with not a lot of "glitz" to the ship. They don't have the rock wall, the florider, or the promenade, but do offer an array of ammenities to my personal liking. If I wanted non-stop activities, I'd go with Royal or Carnival. They offer a great product with loads of activities.
If money were no object, I'd do an Hawaii to Tahiti or Tahiti to Australia itinerary because I love snorkeling. Since money is an object, I'd do a Caribbean itinerary because I love snorkeling and being warm. I'd also like to do a Med cruise, but doubt that I could snorkel in those waters without a full dry suit.
With everything I have just said, my advice is still to go to a good travel agent that specializes in cruises. If you can find one that is CLIA certified, you would probably find a good agent. A good cruise specialist will ask you the right questions to find the best "fit" for you. Best wishes with your up-coming wedding, and hopefully cruise!
Jim C. .....lol...thats a good one...Well we have looked at the southern caribbean to ..bc we have not cruised down their b4...but we havent heard anything really good about it either..we just wont to try and keep it under 4 to 5 grand and still have a good time. Thanks for yalls input and if you have anything else let me know. I have tried to look at cruises in Hawii but RCCL nor Carnival goes in may or june..???Thanks again
Well, Jim might not be all that up to date By the time the honeymoon comes, it's not that big of a deal anymore The southern Caribbean is one of my favorite itineraries! There are fantastic ports, great snorkeling, beautiful beaches, great weather (usually), and really nice locals. RCCL or Carnival don't do Hawaii, but Princess and NCL do. Princess leaves from the US, NCL just does the Hawaiian islands. However, the southern Caribbean, is every bit as nice as Hawaii, at least in my opinion. Even though, I'm old as dirt
