Any suggestions for a good hotel close to port we have to overnight in Barbados before sailing on Windstar. Any help appreciated.

I have no suggestions, but I have to say I'm very envious. Please do write up a review when you've completed your Windstar adventure.

Way back when I sailed Windstar, we stayed at the Hilton, and woke to a beautiful view of our gorgeous ship in the morning. I just checked a couple sites and it is still a nice price to stay in that area.

Enjoy your cruise, the Windstar is a very different enviroment. The service is excellent, intimate, personal like no other larger ship can achieve. It is laid back and classy at the same time. The lack of nightlife is well made up for in intriging ports I fondly still remember 7 years later. Real Caribbean that has not been duplicated in 18 other enjoyable Carribean cruises.
