We were too late to sign up for a beach shore excursion in Belize, so signed up for one when we arrived there. For $25 a person, Wet and Wild, gave us a boat ride to a private island (three companies use it) for the day. We were able to kayak, swim, sit in the sun or jump on a trampoline (although it was deflated when we were there). The island had a restaurant, bar and bathrooms. There were 20 people from our ship on the boat that took us to the island. I'm not sure how far out into the ocean the island was, but it seemed to take a long time. The water was very choppy on the way and the boat felt like it was going to fall apart every time we hit a wave. When we got to the island, there were two other companies that had brought people to the island in a boat and their boats were much bigger than ours, looked safer. The ride back to Belize later in the afternoon was much smoother and relaxing. Wet and Wild staff were very friendly and helpful.
