school visit in Roatan

I have read other places that people cna go to schools and visit and drop of pencils and things. Myself and Lisa are both teachers and would love to do this. Does anyone have any clue how to arrange this? Or do you hyst show up?

You can just show up and you will be welcomed. I once took a bunch of tee shirts and hats with me on a small ship cruise to Costa Rica and thought I would give them away in Golfito (a rather poor town in southern Costa Rica) I ended up giving them to the owner of a Chinese restaurant who handed them out to the neighborhood. I gave him my business card and got a number of notes of thanks from folks that received them there. I was blown away.

Do it. Have a great cruise!

We have actually hooked up with CSIRoatan to go to their mission and school and bring them some "suff" please everyone, consider this before your next trip to Roatan.

We just got back from Roatan. A very poor island. I wish we had taken things with us to give to the children. We spent as much money as we could in the local market and gave some to the kids we talked to. The people were all very nice.
