Costa Rica & Panama Excursions

Leaving May 8 on Carnival Freedom. Nothing really jumps out at us in Costa Rica or Panama. We like the beach but not much to choose from. May try zip line and Panama City tour. Any suggestions?

If you dock at Puntarenas (sp?) there is a beach right there not sure about swimming there
Check "Okey dokey" tours
Plenty of taxi guides at the dock in Costa Rica

We were on an outrigger canoe trip last year in Costa Rica. We saw turtles and lots of other wildlife, it was about an hour bus ride from the ship. The trip on the ocean was about 45 mins each way, we stopped a beach for a swim and some fresh fruit. Worth a try.

I recommend the zip line tour in Costa Rica. Very exciting and you get a brief tour on the way to and from Jungle. Definitely my favorite zip line tour in the Caribbean.

Thanks Guys, I appreciate the imput. We have decided on the zip line in Costa Rica. How strict are they on the weight limit. We have one guy who is 260 lbs.

Okey Dokey Tours is different than the tour offered by Princess correct? I went on that website once but did not get a response. Any help?

I looked back at my information from our Canopy Tour in Costa Rica and the company was The Jungle Breeze. Not sure who Carnival will go through but it could be the same place. Hopefully that will lead you to your answer on the weight limit.

He may be busy with tours so give him a day or so to reply.

I do not know what Princess offers so cannot compare except the prices will be better with Charlie
