We're presently sailing away from Grand Cayman, where we did the Nautilus semi-submersible & snorkeling excursion. This was worth every penny! Incredible sights, and the boat was cool and comfortable. Even though there was a very large group, they split us up and didn't overfill the boat. We were all going back & forth to look out one side then the other, to see the shipwrecks and the huge fish.
In Ocho Rios, we did the White River tubing & Shaw Park beach excursion. The tubing was a lot of fun, but if you do this you will perhaps want to bring your own lunch. After the tubing, they take you to the beach, which is not walking distance from the pier, and if you want lunch you can eat at the hotel....for a price. $25 for buffet and $10 burgers.
In Labadie, we did the waverunner excursion. It was fun, but not as much as I thought it would be, from a 'passenger' viewpoint. My husband was the driver, and he had a blast. Afterward we just lay on the nearest beach.
Does anyone report anything better than "not as much fun as I thought it would be" from the passenger spot on a waverunner? You got by very well: most will tell you this was miserable. The driver always seems to have a great time, however!
