My family and I are looking for that perfect St. Lucia shore excursion; our agents have recommended that we sign up with Real St. Lucia Tours. Iíve looked at their tours, and Iíve also called the owners, but, Iím still unsure of what will constitute a great tour for a family of 5, 2 adults, children ages 7, 5 and 13. I guess I will come to a decision when the day arrives, and let you all know about the experience.

Hi bbritten, welcome to Cruise-Chat. I removed the direct link for Real St. Lucia Tours. We're not allowed to advertise on this site. It all depends on what your family's interests are as to what would constitute the perfect excursion. We love snorkeling and have done some great snorkels in St. Lucia, usually through the ship. We've gone to Pigeon Island, and have done a few land tours. St. Lucia is one of my favorite islands. The snorkel of the Pitons was outstanding.

You can use the "find" feature in your upper left hand corner and type in St. Lucia. It will pull up all the posts made and you might find something that interests you. Best wishes!

Penny we will be in St. Lucia in about a month. We are avid snorkelers and we are looking for a great snorkel tour to the Pitons. Would you please give us some recommendations.

Thanks

When my wife and I were there on a RCCL ship we spent a day at the Anse Chastanet Resort. We called to make reservations a couple of weeks before our cruise and were given instruction on where to meet to be taken to the resort by boat. It was the best snorkeling adventure I ever had. I never saw so many species of tropical fish. They have a shop by the beach were you can rent any thing you need for snorkeling or scuba diving. You only have to go about 100 feet from shore before you're in awe. You might want to check it out. It's been about 3 years since I was there so I don't know what the cost would be now.

The piton tour we did through the ship. We did Pigeon Island on our own. If you're to be there for a month, you'll be able to visit more areas. I've heard the southern end has the best beaches. The lady I worked with from St. Lucia has left our University for a better job. I will email her for suggestions.
