i looked at captain marvins site for sting ray city, what about grand caymen cruise shore excursion anyone use these guys i think the only dif between captain and them are catamarain potty on board and a bit cheaper also more people. also any suggestions for tour guides in jamaica?going in april on mariner of the seas thanks alicia
We went to www.grandcaymancruiseexcursions.com
We booked the Buccaneer Stngray City Catamaran Excursion. It was Great!!
After Stingray City we made 2 more snorkel stops. (most excursions only do one stop)
We went in October, not a lot of people maybe 10 to 12. 50ft Catamaran and the crew were great. Much better deal than through Carnival.
We went with Nativeway in early December on the Rum Point excursion. Can't say enough about how great the guides were and the great day we had. Food was excellent also.
29dawgs, I just booked online with Buccaneer. So happy to hear that it went well! I'll be looking forward to a good trip at a fraction of the ship's cost.
Oooooo I reserved the Rum Point excursion for US in March. I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks 29dawgs. I also booked us a tour through the same group for Cozumel. I'm sure the kids are going to love the stingrays. I'm packing lots of dog biscuits to feed the stingrays/fish during the snorkeling. Something I've always done diving, as the dog biscuits stay together long enough to get them down underwater and make the fish very happy. A leftover biscuit from breakfast turns to mush in seconds.
we used capt marvins, in april 2006.
we could not have been more pleased.
less people & less money, plus 3 stops
the ships excursion only stops at the stingray beach. going again in june 2007, will use capt marvin again
