How long to allow from port to Red Hook

I have even done this before and don't remember how much time to allow to get to Red Hook (we are meeting a tour vendor there at a set time) Thanks in advance!

If you grab a taxi, about 20 to 30 minutes.. Public bus depends on how quickly you can catch a bus, but it could take 30 to 40 minutes or an hour or so...

Thanks, we have not done this itinery before and are surprised at how truly excited all of us are. It will be our future son-in-law's first cruise. He is beside himself!
