The pics make it look like great fun. When did you go. Has any buddy booked the excursion with cave-tubing.com. we have 16 people going on the Glory in Sept.
You can go see what you are getting into if you want. Go to my picture site and you can see pics from when my family and my sister's family went last october. Click here and then go into the Cave Tubing in Belize gallery.
Trust me.. if you want to see someone afraid of snakes, it would be my sister... she had no problems.
i loved your pictures. which tour group did you use for the tubing?
The pics are from October of 2006. This was through Reggie Tours and they are great. They probably could manage 16 people, but you would have to give them advanced notice for sure. Only way to know is to ask.

I have been on 3 cruises so far and "cave tubing" in Belize was by the far the most memorable and fun. There are no crocs...water temp is not hospitable for crocs. I would highly suggest this excursion if you are in fairly decent shape (there is a significant hike to opening of cave) and you love adventure.
The water is extremely cold. I don't remember ever being that cold but that is the only negative thing about the whole experience. After we finished, I went to bathroom and changed into warm/dry clothes.

When you do go to Dunns, they'll take a picture of you under one of the fall areas. The water flowing down is like ice. You're hot from the climb, but good golly miss molly, it jolted me like someone pouring ice cubes down my back. I told the guide to hurry up and snap the picture, my goose bumps had goose bumps! I'd still go again, it was a blast.
