Which beach is the best for families in St. Maarten? I'd like it to have restrooms, facilities to purchase food and maybe watersport rentals.

Which beach is the best for families in St. Maarten? I'd like it to have restrooms, facilities to purchase food and maybe watersport rentals.

Orient Beach on the French side is definitely the best. Even though it is clothing optional, if you check out my review of the port at www.portreviews.com you will note that there is a section of the beach reserved for naturalists, but if you move further down the beach, it is quite acceptable for families. If that doesn't appeal to you - check out Simpson Bay or Mullet Bay on the Dutch side.
