Xcaret or PlayaMia

My daughter wants to go to Xcaret, my son wants to go to Playa Mia. Any comments on either place?

I've been to Xcaret. It seems like a great place for families. I cannot comment on their attraction of swimming through caves and tunnels throughout the park, since I didn't do it. But the rest of the park was beautiful and educational. The sea turtles were the most impressive part of the park, although it didn't seem the safest for very young kids there (imagine a long narrow stone bridge over a body of water with giant sea turtles with no rail!). The food was pretty good too.
