Should we do the excursion offered by Princess or just take a taxi. The excursion includes rum punch, lounge chair and transportation. Curious how much drinks are at the bars on the beach.

I CAN'T REMEMBER THE BEACH BAR NAME, BUT PINA COLADAS $5 BUCKS (NOT BAD). a CAB COSTED $7per/p EACH WAY.

In my opinion a complete waste of money.

Get off the ship. Walk over to a taxi. Disregard the posted taxi prices because it will show a fare for 1 person to be very high. Wait for a group of people to get in a taxi (most hold about 8-10 and they will charge you around 6 or 7 dollars per person.

Get off the taxi and walk to the beach and find a chair. I think the price is 5 or 6 for a chair umbrella and complementary drink.

Total cost per person less than 15 compared to 44 per person.
