Cozumel still tendering mega ships?

Ok, another question: we are sailing on the Conquest in August. We will be porting at Cozumel on 8/18. There will be two other ships besides us that same day at Cozumel according to port schedules. We will be arriving at 9:00am as well as another ship and the third is scheduled for 10:00am. Does Conquest get to dock at the pier or is it first come first serve? if not, and we have to tender in, where does the tender let you off at? I am trying to schedule excursions independently and would like to know which would be cheaper from which pier locations. thanks again. you guys are the GREATEST!!!!!!!!

Hello. We were on the Freedom June 4th cruise, and in Cozumel that week. We were tendered. The pier were the tendered docked at, was barely long enough to run the length of the tender. The rest of the pier was wrecked from the hurricaine last year. I thought there were 2 piers, am i mistaken. If so, where is the other pier? Lil' Lori

We were at the International Pier. A little ways south is/was the Puerta Maya pier which was completely destroyed. Is that the one you recall? There is also a third pier downtown which was heavily damaged. I think Puerta Maya got nailed the worst. The damage was really impressive, wasn't it? It proves the force of an ocean unleashed by a storm.

Some ships can dock now, but the piers are not back to their full capacity so others are tendered - it depends on how many and which ships are in port on the day.
