One of our cruise ports was changed to Progreso. I have not heard very many good comments about this port; however, I want to make the best of it. Does anyone have any suggestions on shore excursions booked through Carnival? Since I have never been, I would rather go through Carnival. Thanks!

There are comments on things to do in Progreso and Merida.
Also this, Excursions
If you gave already looked at this, my apologies for the redundancy.

I took the 2 plus hour bus ride to Chichen Itza and it was well worth it....Progresso is trying to upgrade but it will be awhile...Happy Cruising...
