Beach Snorkeling in Antigua??

Does anyone know of a beach in Antigua that has good snorkeling? Help would be appreciated.

I'm glad you asked that question! We are leaving on an RCCL cruise on 11/25/06 and Antigua is one of the ports we will be visiting. Our son would like to snorkel by walking into the water instead of taking a boat to a reef.

We went to the Pinapple Beach Resort and had a blast. Did not do snorkeling there, but heard that you can do it along the beach. This is the Atlantic side of the island, however and though the beach is somewhat protected by a coral reef, I've heard, the water is more turbulent on this side. Quite a few years ago we went to a beach hotel resort named Hawks Bill. Very enjoyable. Water was nice and there were fish to see. Could also rent a small sail boat which was fun. If I were to return to Antigua, I would definatley go there. However, weather conditions and time change things. At one time Chakanuba Beach on Cozumel was extroadinary. Now I wold not go there again.
