Carnival cancels 5 more Splendor cruises because of fire damage

As I suspected, once they got things opened up and looked around some more there was more to be repaired than initially thought. I will not be surprised to learn the added work involves modifications to existing systems and machinery. Press Release

A friend of ours was supposed to sail on the Jan 30 cruise. I just sent them an email about the cancellation and that that we are on the Dream the day before (there is still room)
