What is the largest size of luggage you can carry-on? I have a duffle bag that is 23", and I want to make sure that it is not to big.

Thanks.

Your duffle bag is no problem for the ship, you can carry on pretty much any of your luggage if you prefer. The airlines have very specific size and weight restrictions. If you're flying, be sure it meets with airline regs.

Thank you. I know I do not want to over pack..lol, but also I want to leave enough room for souvenirs.

Do they have a limit on how many bags to carry on? What if I wanted to take my own bottled water (I do not drink soda, and I rarely drink tea.

Well, it does have to fit in the x-ray machine at the pier security station.

Taken from Carnival's F.A.Q. section...

Do you have luggage restrictions?

Here is the link.

Your carry on has to fit through the x-ray machine at the pier. It's not as big as an airport machine. Why not put your valuables in a smaller carry on and just check your large duffle at the pier? It's carrying them off that makes the big difference. If you carry off you can leave the ship as soon as they release passengers. If you let them take it the night before, you have to wait till your ticket color is called.
