Leaving Nov 26th from Galvaston !!

My husband and I are driving from Northwest Nebraska, to Killeen,Tx to pick up Son and daughter in law, on to San Antonio to pick up daughter and son in law and board the Carnival Conquest on Nov 26th. First cruise for the kids and I. ( Husband was on one last year to Alaska) We are all so excited. Have read lots of posts, so feel like I have a pretty good ideal of what is going on ?? Western Caribian. We have balcony rooms. So that should be great.

I use to attend bingo at the heights AA club in Albuquerque with my gparents when they were alive, and my mother has been in recovery for ...wow... 20 years. Time flies!!

Every cruise we have been on has had Friends of Bill W. if not every day...every other day..as best as I can remember seeing it in the Capers.

You will love the Conquest. Except for a couple of floors that are dead ends (which you will learn quickly to avoid) she has everything you would ever want on a cruise ship. Deli, sushi, fish and chips, "room service" (my favotite).

But the best spot in the whole world was the hot tub in the spa. Just like the free saunas in the spa, not a lot of people know about the free hot tub. Some folks avoid it because it is in the spa area and they are afraid it will cost extra. Unless they have changed it from 2003 when we sailed her...it also has a waterfall in the hot tub area...VERY NICE! (adults only)
