Inspiration better than the Fantasy?

I have been on one other cruise and that was the Fantasy. I will be going on the Inspiration in April. I was wondering which ship is nicer? I thought that the fanasty was a pretty decent ship for it's age. I know the Inspiration is newer. Which is nicer in your opinons?

The Inspiration is a newer ship than the Fantasy, but the Fantasy has been refurbished in Oct 2005 and it is looking good. The Inspiration is due for refurbishment sometime later this year.

Snce both are the same floorplan...if you liked one, you will like the other. We loved both. We just got off the Fantasy last week ...it has been awhile for the Inspiration.

Doesn't the Inspiration have an especially good reputation among long-time Carnival employees?

I like the Fantasy better than the Inspiration. I just got off the Inspiration and had a very bad experience. This was my 25th cruise with Carnival and 30 all together. The Inspiration is not my best friend's favorite ship either. Actually she prefers NCL or Princess. Although, she says Princess has been "Carnivalized."

When someone makes a statement like that it is usually because they are trying to slam Carnival Cruise Lines. It is a statement without merit because it is Carnival Corporation & Plc that owns Princess, not Carnival Cruise Lines. Carnival Corp also owns luxury cruise lines Cunard and Seabourn. Would she call them "Carnivalized" too?
