Returned from the Liberty

I will post a more complete report later, I have lots of notes. In general a marvelous cruise. I am of course partial (having a daughter that dances) but I think the cast of the Liberty was the best I have seen on the five contracts she has danced on. Jason and Kendal, the production singers, not only sang well together but danced well and interacted well. The sound level was perfect, Scott the sound guy did a super job. I have had some complaints before on the volume and balance but the Liberty shows were good for sound.
The Liberty band actually played some ballroom dance stuff for us. We like to Waltz and Rumba and fox trot etc and other ships never gave us the chance. I even learned how to hip-hop and do the Austin Powers, so it was not an old people cruise by any means. There were some downsides that were minor, like the balcony door whistled in the wind, and a stairway tripped my wife due to a runner not securely fastened. I loved the festive decoration. The new Legends show is much better than the old talent show. All in all a great cruise. More later.

Welcome back cruisedad, glad to hear you had a good time. When's your next cruise? Is your daughter going to be on the same ship? I know reality is hard to come back to, but booking the next cruise certainly helps ease the pain.

Yes, She will still be under contract. Look for the dancer from New Hampshire. There are 3 from the USA which is quite unusual, One male dancer, one from Mass and my daughter from NH. You can find many of the dancers after a show at the Casino Lounge, the Piano bar or late night in the Disco. You can also see her sometimes selling Bingo Cards or the Library and you could even meet her at embarkation, reviewing tickets and passport or passing out deck plans. Always with a winning smile. Say hi from CruiseDad she knows I use that handle.

all i can say is WOW!! i had such an AMAZING time!! i met sooo many new ppl from all over, and I've just been in contact with them nonstop all week! definitely one of the best vacations ive been on!

Cruise dad -- I was on liberty March 25-31. The entertainment was awesome. We really enjoyed the shows. My husband and I want to send a thank you note to a social host that was very nice to us. I only know their first name. Do you know how I can get it to the person.

Cupcake330, Welcome to cruise-chat. Tell me what you know of this person and I will pass it on to my daughter, She can relay the message. We should copy Todd also as goes towards the evaluation. Was it Michelle? How about James? or maybe William. Possibly even a dancer as they do bingo and library and as such and you might not even know they were dancers. Was it Myra, Beth, Linda, Bret, George, How about David?
