Thanks, I found it on another website not associated with Carnival. I am a little nervous booking through an independent co. Especially since we are so warned not to miss the ship.
We have done the kayak excursions twice in Cabo. They take you in an organized group and it takes about an hour to paddle out to the Arch. On the second trip we actually paddled up near the sea lions and around the rock at the point. Both times we stopped for an hour or so at Lover's beach. Then it was an hour or less to paddle back.
We absolutely love this excursion and will do it again the next time we are in Cabo.
f-mattox, the pirate ship is fine. Many people went on that. It is the private, independent water taxis that Carnival doesn't recommend. Once you see one, you will see why immediately. They stick out like a sore thumb. It's a little(2-4 passenger) wooden dingy with a hand-painted sign "water taxi" on the side. No surprises there.
Thank you Andrealovescruising, now I understand;
the water taxis I was referring to were almost like the ship tenders but not off the ship. And I would assume Princess had a contract with them since it was Princess personnel putting us in them.
