Hi. .....am new to this board!! Glad I found it!! Is anybody out there sailing on this particular date? Would love to say "Hi."
I was reading earlier about how some people bring sodas and beer with them on cruise....what about liquor? Is that allowed?

Was on Ecstacy May 1-6 and enjoyed every minute. Wife and I had a blast. We took bottled water and soft drinks, but I wouldn't try to sneak hard stuff on. Some say they get by with it in their carry-on bag, but it is not worth the risk in my opinion. They have rules for a reason, and why take a risk of being denied a pleasurable trip. Have fun! By the way, I offered a full review of the ship on this posting back in May...look for Ecstacy review from me and read all about it.

We did take 1/5th of vodka in our checked luggage by putting it in a water bottle. Didn't have a problem.

Hi Bell,
Hope you have a wonderful cruise!! I've taken splits of wine in my carry-on and never had any problems. I figure if they confiscate it, I'm not out too much money. I've heard of others, like BJC taking alcohol in different containers and others that have just taken the bottle without problems. Good luck!!
