My girlfriends and I are considering going on the Holiday sometime this sping for a "Girls only vacation" I have sailed on the Holiday before in May 05 before Katrina. I heard that the Holiday was used to house Katrina victims for a while and was in bad shape after, but that Carnival had remodeled the ship and that she is now in better shape than before. Is there any truth to this? Can anyone who has sailed on her since Katrina tell me what kind of shape she is in and what kind of service you received. My girlfriends and I are considering the Holiday because the first time we sailed on her we had such a BLAST and the service was the best ever!! Any suggestions or news anyone can give would be great. Happy sailing to all.

Ya'll need to book Holiday for the 3/17 -22 sailing, which is Spring Break for schools in Al & TN. That's when our group is going, and Dave also! I have heard nothing but POSITIVE experiences from anyone that has been on Holiday and looking forward to our first cruise on her. The best part for me will be not having to fool with flying because we are driving to the port, another first.

Thanks for the info. I'll see what we can do for those dates. Sounds like lots of fun! It all depends on one of the girls "Spring Break Dates" for her School. Happy Sailing.
