Is it cheaper to pre order this coupon for $15 or wait and pay in person. This is my 1st time so I don't know how much a picture costs

NO! Don't pre order. Pictures are cheaper the last 2 days of the cruise. you don't have to buy them each time theyr are put out. they also have specials. It's best to wait believe me. Decide at the very end which pictures you look best in, and take a few.

You will find that Carnival does not discount the pictures on the last 2 days of the cruise, in fact on the last day of our Valor cruise recently I asked for a discount, I stated it was a waste to just throw all these pictures away, they told me they dont, they recycle the pictures.

Not sure what the $15.00 coupon is for, but on Carnival the 8X10's run 19.95 the smaller pictures run between 6.95 upwards depending whether its a 6X9 or 5X7.

Cruise Specialist is right. CCL does not discount the pictures at the end of the cruise. My wife buys lots of the pictures when we go and if there were any discount she would know about it. We have used coupons but there were from the Sea Miles credit card coupon book and not anything we have pre paid for. There is a discount on the Travel Log DVD they make and it shows up in one of the Carnival Capers during the cruise... But the normal pictures don;t go on sail at the endof the cruise or NO ONE would buy them during the trip and wait until the last day...

No savings, if you read the photo coupon, it states it worth $15.00 towards purchase. In other words if the picture you want to purchase is $19.95, then you would still pay the difference. That coupon is more for someone who wants to purchase a gift for you to be in your stateroom when you arrive. I wouldnt waste my time or money...but if anyone wants to buy you a bon voyage gift, then send them to the site to purchase it for you.

A little advice if you're really interested in the photos. Stop by every photographer and let them take your photo. Even on casual days---the BEST photo I have from last Feb's cruise is one of my 2 oldest sons. When I looked at it on the rack it brought tears to my eyes. I have an older photo from when my oldest was almost 3 and my 2nd born was 10 months old. The Carnival pic had the two of them in the EXACT same pose 11 years later. You never know what you're going to find when you browse the photos you posed for.

rescue911chick's advice is right on the money! Many feel the photos are overpriced, but you have numerous backgrounds and unlimited opportunities for the "perfect shot," and being under no obligation to purchase! Let them flash away and you might end up with a photo to cherish forever.
